You, your friends, and family are invited to participate in our FIRST wolf hike at the new compound.
To honor the occasion, Vernon Wells (a Choctaw inductee and board member) will guide us through an Native American blessing right after the hike.
Then we will feast on burgers and hot dogs provided by Wolf Connection and potluck goodies provided by participants.
Come and celebrate with us and our wolf and wolfdog family! Please bring food to share and spread the word—the more, the merrier!
This is a one-time event and it is donation-based; please, no smoking or alcoholic beverages on the premises.
After an introductory welcome and safety talk by our staff, we will head out for an outdoors adventure that combines an exciting hike and a view of nature through the eyes of wolves. We will travel approximately two miles up and down desert hills, cottonwood forest, and streams enjoying magnificent scenery.
This is the only event at our facility that you can attend without having to commit to the volunteering program and takes place once every month (please stay tuned and always confirm with us since date and time might change)
To participate please RSVP to wolfconnectionteam@gmail.com
See you there,
Happy Howls, The Wolf Connection Team

Unfortunately i can't make it today after all =[
i hope it is a wonderful day for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is the stream flooded due to the rain? Or can small cars get through without getting stuck in water or mud? :)
DIRECTIONS:
30290 Moddy Truck Trail, Acton, CA 93510
Take 14 North, exit Crown Valley Road and turn right.
Continue for 2 miles through a small town and cross the railroad tracks.
About ½ mile after the tracks, pass sign on your left: “Thousand Trails Campground”
Make a left on Arrastre Canyon Road.
After a few yards, the road will turn into a dirt road. Go straight and you’ll see a sign for “Rancho del Guero Loco.”
That’s where the compound is located. You’ll see a sign that says “Private Property,” but just go through.
Continue onto the property, cross the creek, and you’ll see our signs
