Wolf Connection

Animal Planet's Fatal Attraction Very Upsetting

It's the episode"Don't Feed The Bears" the second story was about Wolfdogs.  It was the story of a woman who owned a pack of 9 wolfdogs. Apparently, she had emotional issues as a child and the wolves helped her feel like she belonged.  Long story short,  it ended with them killing her.

The story painted ALL wolfdogs to be dangerous, vicious, wild animals.  This will show will no doubt cause harm.   :((((

i did appreciate the stern warning, that the Lakota Medicine Man gave though...
to respect the wild animals, and (whenever possible) allow them to remain in the wild!

but genetically speaking, they were very wrong,
crossing two breeds can bring out the best OR the worst of the breeds...

i couldn't believe the woman who said crossing two types of dogs
ALWAYS results in a confused and unstable being.

just ask my inbred rescued former show dog ;]

i was mortified that they showed the wolves
that they had killed because of one woman's stupidity!

i wish they had spent more (any) time educating people
that she had no business trying to breed her own pack of wolves!
Yeah that episode was very upsetting. They killed those animals without even knowing what happened. For all we know she could have went in to attack them or something and they were just defending themselves. It definitely was a very sad show.
Just seeing the promos has been enough to convince me to not watch this show at all. Thanks for letting me know that I should continue.
Also thanks for the warning that people who have "seen it on TV" will now "know" that wolf dogs are dangerous and should be destroyed.
You always have to read the energy of the animals and have a good strong bond with them so that they trust you.
You wrote Wolf dogs are dangerous and should be destroyed? What is your purpose here if that is your belief? Yes, wild animals belong in the wild. People who own any animal especially wild must be knowledgeable and have common sense. You cannot paint all wolf dogs with the same brush. They all have different dispositions as do humans and are who they are by their experiences with people. Good grief, a chihuahua can be vicious in the wrong environment or bad breeding. Everyone is different. You can not paint all people or all animals as being exactly the same. Many people have had positive experiences with wolf dogs as family members. It's ludicrous for you to state all wolf dogs are dangerous and should be killed.

Now that I've returned to the ground, were you just being fisicious? I certainly hope the way it came across to me is not the way it was meant. There are already enough idiots who want to destroy the creatures we share the earth with.
That was not my opinion. I was saying that ignorant people would see the show and then believe that. That is not my belief at all. I am sorry if I was not clear.

Thank you for clarifying it for me. I'm really very glad to know that. I get so tired of people who only want to kill what they don't understand and consider a problem. Thanks again.
As do I!
