This beautiful Texas girl is in IMMEDIATE NEED!

She is people friendly, definitely.

Good with children & all sizes of dogs. (Don't know about cats)

Great on a leash, even knows basic commands such as sit and down.

Good in an SUV, but not a small car.

Will stay in a large fenced in yard if given anti-anxiety medication twice daily. Otherwise, she will chew, dig or jump out of a 6 ft wooden fence. With electric wiring at top and bottom of fence she would stay. Likes to be indoors for short spans of time. Will start to pace when ready to go back outside. CANNOT be confined indoors.

Yes, she is spayed. Up to date on all vaccinations. Heartworm Negative. Comes with a year's supply of heartworm & flea prevention.

Please read description below

I have a 6 year old, spayed female Husky mix that I believe to be a Wolf hybrid that is in desperate need of relocation. I took her in 3 years ago when she came into the clinic where I work from a Shepherd rescue (Camp Wolfgang).

Her tail was necrotic and infected and could not be saved so we had amputate it. I took her home to recover and my family decided to let her stay with us instead of going back to live in a kennel where she'd lived for the previous year.

Rain has some containment anxiety and cannot be confined in a house, much less a crate. She even jumps the 6 ft. wooden fence unless she's kept on anti-anxiety medications daily.

Recently, my husband and I have divorced and I have moved out into a duplex. We had decided she was best where she was used to living and had a fenced-in acre to live, but my husband changed his mind and she ended up in a shelter.

I bailed her out of the shelter when I found out, but cannot bring her to my duplex. She is currently being kenneled at the clinic where I work, but her time is up.

With the holidays here, our clinic is full and my boss wants her out of the kennel. I have almost exhausted all options of re-homing her or getting her into rescue and I'm faced with the decision of euthanasia if I cannot find a place for her ASAP.

Is there anyone you know who can take her?

Any advice would be appreciated. Attached are pictures.

Thank you,
Angela
