What brought you to WolfConnection.org?: I love wolves and everything they stand for...

What would you want the community to know about you?: At the age of 7 we found a Wolf Sheppard mix who was about 10 weeks old... we nurtured him to health and he became part of our family... now as. An adult I have always wanted another wolf mix or full blood... on my 36th birthday I was surprised by my husband with a beautiful 4 week old cub... I named her Maya... Her parents are 13th generation removed from the Dakota mountains.... My husband's coworker is a memeber of the Lakota tribe were Maya's family is from... Maya's mom is half arctic and half timber... Maya's dad is full arctic... Maya gets her color from her mom... I'm proud of my baby girl and love her unconditional....

What would you like to get out being part of the our Community?: I would like to help in the conservation of our wild wolves and to bring awareness that wolves are not a danger in anyway as they are portrayed to be... I also would like to educate people that wolves are not to be treated like dogs... a wolf needs his pack... you cant cage them and leave them alone... they need social interaction...
