Thanks for bringing aware to all of the public about how important to protect such spectacular creature which is bloodandflesh and bread and butter to me and you my dear bro.AAAUU~!
Hi Teo, I'm slowing coming to acceptance that I will be without the physical part of him. I do know that Lakota will always be with me, but sometimes I just need to be reminded. He is aging fast but we still have some time. He starting to have more just plain old soreness and pain, so I'm exploring ways to help him with that. Truth be told, I am certain that Lakota pulled through this last go round because of me! One minute fighting to call the vet, in full-out panic! and the next he was up, outside and resumed normal 'potty' function. Funny the depth of wisdom in some of these critters! I do have a couple of ideas that may contribute to the site. I wasn't sure if it could stay open or not after the change to pay sites.
My grandchildren are having the summer vaction with me right now, so time is crunched, but send a message pretty quick. Thanks for all you do to help the woofers! Blessings, Laura
Teo, I have a friend who would like to donate but wants to send a check. Please give me the mailing address she should send it to. Thanks, Jane Hightower
Teo, just keep doing what you are doing! I love the 10 commandments. I have an aging wolfie, and must decide day by day if he wishes to continue this life's walk. I don't know what I will do without him, he is my last. But, after a very scary period, I had to sit down with him and tell him that I would never be ready for life without him, but I will be OK. This old guy has been my life for over 11 years, and he defies everything they say you can't do with a hc. We are only limited by our patience, love, and belief.
So, yes, I am with you on every hike, every walk, and in every effort to care for the four legged's.
Laura
Thanks, Teo. I am Paula Ficara's mother and am delighted they found you. I have been a friend to a group in Colorado for a number of years. (http://www.wolfeducation.org ) It too was begun on a shoestring by a woman who adopted a wolf mix at the moment she was about to be put down. You may already know about them. I will be visiting in July and am eager to see you all - two leggeds and four leggeds! Jane
