I was lucky - it was one of those "someone who knew someone" things. I mentioned I wanted to work with animals and a phone call later I was! I am so glad you have finally gotten your opportunity - there is nothing like it. I drive home every Saturday feeling so at peace and connected to the earth.

I took a year off from Grad School to work with exotic animals with Wildlife on Wheels when it was very new. We did classroom and assembly programs for schools and I handled a variety of creatures. I'll have to tell you about it some time!

That's awesome! I'm so glad you were able to spend time with these special animals. I find that they help me to recharge my batteries each week. Unfortunately, I am only available on Saturday for the most part, but I enjoy my time with them and the pack members so much that I look forward to each Saturday. I hope you can make it to our events on the 3rd :o)
