I so much agree. If Ranger could talk, I think he could teach me. He is very smart. I see him as a diplomat for the hybrids. When ever I bring him hiking or whatever, people are amazed by his intelligence. I make sure everyone who asks me what his heritage is, leaves with a warm feeling, this is a very majestic animal that should be admired and protected in our world.
Hi Jackie, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I love wolves and my hybrid in particular. It depresses me that states like Alaska are allowing hunting of wolves by helicopter. There's no sport in that, only carnage. Wolves are the animal where all dogs came from. They are the royalty of the dog world.
Thank you for the warm welcome. i hope that this site can help others with the learning of wolves, wolf-dogs and many more. I'll spread the word here in the south. It's great to meet u
Hi Jackie,
I will always search, but they would have to be very young. My Lola I took home at 4 weeks , she slept on my chest for 2 months...she passed away at age 10..pure wolf I was lucky to find her..Coho I found at a rescue "Wolverine Rescue" in Surprise AZ he was 11 months old and I had to have a trainer come to my home for a month and train us all...what an Alpha my guy was..My husband loved all my wolfs and dogs..he doesn't admit it but I know he does not want to go through the pain of losing them and worrying about me..enough about me...take care ..I'll be on this site every day!
Thank you Jackie! I hope to become an active Member.
I live in the Phoenix area so I would have to plan ahead for any trips to events, but I can share with friends and donate on occasion.
I miss my Mexican Grey Wolf Lola and Coho our Siberian Huskey/grey.. right now I have a Lab I adopted from my Daughter this Lab is a one only princess dog ...but I think puppies would be accepted by her..but then their is the Husband..I won't give up! and I will look to you when I can adopt. Thank you for all you do..I'm so glad I found your Organization!
I was looking at my calendar and it doesn't seem I'm "booked" so this may just be perfect timing. I will wait just another day or so before I commit but if all is good I'll RSVP!!!!!
Thanks Jackie. It was such an incredible opportunity for me to be able to interact with the dogs/wolves. Not exactly sure who was more of what but they were all gorgeous and I so want to get involved. It was very hard to leave yesterday so I came back again today! Looking forward to seeing my pictures so I can post them.
