Since pre-historic times, man has been associated with the Wolf through a common bond. Revered and admired for its hunting skill, as well as its social structure and affectionate bonding, man’s early survival was due in large to their close association with the Wolf, both as protector and fellow hunter.
For the Native American Indians the Wolf was the possessor of magical powers. A spiritual animal that presented all of the best qualities that they hoped to reflect in their lives: nobility, love, care and protection of family, excellent hunting skill, and a keen sense of survival.
Therefore, the Wolf was for them a mentor and model that showed them how to conduct their lives, not only to survive, but to live with honor and dignity.
Reconnect with this ancient bond and experience a night of wildlife education and spiritual connection in the company of these magical creatures.
Suggested contribution: $50
Note: Nobody will be turned away because of money. Contribute what you can. The most important thing is that YOU COME!
We will have an animal behavior talk as we enjoy appetizers and drinks, and then we will spend time with the wolves with a possible howling concert under the full moon … to be decided by the performers on the night of the event
Villalobos animal rescue center is a non for profit and the home of twenty two wolves and wolfdogs. Your generous contribution will help improve our facility, care for the wolves, and will get us closer to the creation of a wolf permanent sanctuary that will replicate their natural habitat.
