As these events are gaining more and more popularity every time we do them, we are going to get together one last time before desert winds make it difficult for outdoor activities.
This time we'll have a particular focus: As we all know, despite the poor media coverage, wolf hunting season has started for the first time in years after these magnificent creatures were recently removed from the endangered spices protection list. Many of the law makers behind this have never seen a wolf up close, much less had they taken the time to learn about their complex and delicate social structure, their capacity to deeply feel emotions like Love, Joy, Sadness and Sorrow ... if they only knew the pain and often irreversible damage they are causing for the sake of so called "sport" ...
How about the sport of travelling in the company of wolves?
Since pre-historic times, man has been associated with the Wolf through a common bond. Revered and admired for its hunting skill, as well as its social structure and affectionate bonding, man’s early survival was due in large to their close association with the Wolf, both as protector and fellow hunter. For the Native American Indians the Wolf was the possessor of magical powers. A spiritual animal that presented all of the best qualities that they hoped to reflect in their lives: nobility, love, care and protection of family, excellent hunting skill, and a keen sense of survival. Therefore, the Wolf was for them a mentor and model that showed them how to conduct their lives, not only to survive, but to live with honor and dignity.
Come Join us and reconnect with this ancient bond and experience an evening of wildlife education and spiritual connection in the company of these magical creatures.
